Gut Friendly Triple Berry Smoothie

This triple berry smoothie isn’t just here to taste good—it’s here to do something. Packed with protein, healthy fats, probiotics, and a stealthy serving of greens, it’s the kind of breakfast (or snack or lunch) that actually fills you up and doesn’t leave you raiding the pantry 20 minutes later.
We’re using kefir instead of milk for gut-friendly probiotics and healthy fat, and a scoop of protein powder to keep the hanger away. Half a banana adds just enough sweetness without turning it into a sugar bomb.

Tip: I like to toss in my daily dose of fish oil in my smoothies—you won’t taste it!
Nutrition Notes
Berries: Loaded with antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C.
Spinach: Mild in flavor, but brings iron, folate, and magnesium to the party. Basically invisible in smoothies.
Kefir: Think yogurt’s overachieving cousin—full of probiotics for gut health and usually easier to digest.
Protein Powder: Adds staying power. Helps build muscle and repair tissues.
Banana: Natural sweetness, plus potassium and fiber. Half a banana gives you flavor without going full smoothie shop sugar bomb.
Fish Oil (optional): Loaded with omega-3s, great for brain and heart health, helps reduce inflammation, and gives your skin a boost thanks to its natural hit of vitamin A.
Hemp Seeds (for topping, optional): Hemp seeds are tiny nutrition powerhouses—high in vitamin E, rich in heart-healthy fats, and loaded with essential minerals like magnesium, zinc, and iron.
